Jordan + Hannah | Blue and Blush Farm Wedding
Jordan and Hannah got married at one of the most unique venues I’ve ever photographed at. The farmhouse and rustic charm of The Buckeye Barn in Piqua, Ohio made their wedding day extra special. The renovated farmhouse on the property had getting ready rooms that were absolutely perfect for getting ready photos. Soft light, neutral walls with touches of old, textured wood - photographer’s dream! We grabbed a lot of images of Hannah in her gorgeous wedding gown inside the farmhouse - a lot! We couldn’t help ourselves.
Before we got these shots, we had to call in reinforcements to get all of Hannah’s buttons buttoned on the back of her gown. And when I say reinforcements, I mean two photographers and two moms trying to get these things buttoned. How lovely is the back of her dress though! So much lace detail!
Hannah also shared a first look with her Dad and her and Jordan shared a letter between a door before they walked down the aisle. One of the sweetest moments watching these two “pep talk” to each other before ceremony time.
Oh, hello beautiful bride next to beautiful, big, rustic barn doors! It ended up being the perfect spot to take many of the photos that day.
Hannah DIY’ed all of her flowers. I’m always impressed by brides who can do this! They looked so amazing, especially the pieces on the wine barrels.
Hannah and Jordan exchanged their own written vows and their rings up in the loft area of the barn, while their wedding party cascaded down the stairs on both sides.
I’m telling you, the barn doors were amazing!
Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day Jordan + Hannah’
