DIY Reflector

How to create your own photography reflector

What you will need:

• white foam board(s)
  
• metallic spray paint (silver, gold or black)
  
• old sheet/blanket
  

Steps to create:

1. Lay sheet or blanket outside and place foam boards on top of these
   
2. Spray paint board(s) in color of choice (one coat of paint is usually sufficient)
   
3. Let dry
   
4. Can spray paint one side one color and other side different color
   
5. Use your reflector to create highlights and brighten subject being photographed
   

Each color will create a different look in your photos. Try using gold or black on your reflector, though silver is most commonly used.
