When to take Pictures
Lighting can dramatically change the look of your pictures. The time of day or even the weather play a factor in the look of your photos. Using normal light to your full advantage will help transform your pictures. Practice taking pictures at different times of day and eventually you will be familiar with good lighting.
Tips:
- Take photos 1-2 hours after the sun rises or 1-2 hours before the sun sets.
- Use a reflector by placing the subject away from the sun so that it is behind them and reflect the sunlight behind them onto their face
- If it is a sunny day, try placing the subject in the shade so the sunlight isn't so harsh
- If it is cloudy, this is great for taking pictures because the sun light is spread out by cloud cover
